ST. JOSEPH’S SCHOOL,CHARKAPATHAR is a Christian Minority English Medium School, established and administered by the Catholic Diocese of Bhagalpur for the education of boys and girls. It conducts classes from Nursery to Class VI and intends to go up to Class XII. The school will follow the Syllabus of The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (I.C.S.E), New Delhi.

The school is opened to all without distinction of caste or creed. Its objective is to give a well balanced, integral and all round development to young boys and girls by imparting an education which is morally, physically and mentally sound. In keeping with the national aspiration, it helps the students to mature into spiritually oriented men and women of character, who are active, useful and worthy citizens of India.

Here, boys and girls grow together in a healthy atmosphere to equality and mutual respect. The medium of instruction is English, but very special emphasis is given to Hindi, the National Language. It imparts moral instructions which are essential for character formation of students. Besides catering to the scholastic needs of its students, the school gives great importance to co-curricular activities such as physical training, sports and games, art and craft, singing, elocution, quiz and so on. Occasions will be provided to the students to display their talents and hence positive encouragement and co-operation from parents will be essential.
